PROWLER

PANTHER TYPE

ROLE: FRONT-LINE HUNTER-FIGHTER

ARMOR: MODERATE

SPEED: MODERATE

ABILITY: ROAR

PROWLER is a superb multi-role SABRE with the perfect balance of of survivability and speed.

The ROAR ability not only pinpoints the precise location of all other SABRE's in the combat arena, it also supercharges your running speed and greatly hastens auto-repair, even when under direct fire.

 

THUNDERHEAD

RHINO TYPE

ROLE: ARMORED HEAVY-ASSAULT DESTROYER

ARMOR: HEAVY

SPEED: LOW

ABILITY: RAM

THUNDERHEAD is a juggernaut of steel & pain. Don't let this hulking tank fool you with its lumbering pace. If you see that horn pointing at you... run.

The RAM ability boosts Thunderhead forward through the air at breakneck speeds. Any SABRE or Turret in its path are destroyed instantly. Maneuvering jets afford limited steering ability at this time.

This ability can be primed and held until the perfect opportunity to strike.

GHOST

WOLF TYPE

ROLE: HIGH-MOBILITY STEALTH INTERCEPTOR

ARMOR: LIGHT

SPEED: HIGH

ABILITY: CLOAK

GHOST is the fastest, sneakiest SABRE in the arena. It is also has the weakest armor rating... but chances are you'll never see this nimble little battle-assassin coming until it's too late.

 

The CLOAK ability renders Ghost almost completely invisible to both the naked-eye and masks its radar signature. It can even foil Prowler's Roar ability! But don't think this one is going to turn tail and run all the time. Shooting when cloaked will interrupt the ability but, for a brief window, this will also multiply weapon power to deliver massive critical damage. 

 

CHOOSE YOUR WEAPONS

Each SABRE can carry TWO weapons on its back. Each is fired separately.

Double up with the same weapon for a more focused play style,

or mix and match for more combat versatility. 

WEAPON CRATES

Unlock new weapons with Weapon Crates. You can win weapons crates at the end of a match OR you can purchase them with in-game credits.

These are NOT LOOT CRATES. You cannot purchase these with real money. They are in-game rewards only.

Each Weapon Crate contains a Weapon comprised of the following COMPONENTS:

BARREL

Determines overall weapon category, as well as Range, Projectile Speed, and Blast Radius.  

RECEIVER

Determines Rate of Fire, Accuracy, and Ammo Regeneration.

POWER CORE

Determines Damage and Ammo Capacity.

Each component is randomly selected from the following RARITIES:

COMMON

UNCOMMON

RARE

EPIC

LEGENDARY

The combined rarity of Components determines the overall rarity of the weapon they form.

The Rarity determines the overall effectiveness of the Component as well as the Re-sell value of the Weapon.

WEAPON CATEGORIES

BLASTERS

Blasters are full-auto kinetic energy weapons.

 

BARRELS:

Fire full-Auto bolts of kinetic energy effective at short and medium ranges.

RECEIVERS:

Offer variable Rates of Fire with Low to Average accuracy.

POWER CORES:

Deliver Impact Damage, effective against armor but can be blocked by energy shields.

 

PLASMA CANNONS

Plasma Cannons are high explosive energy weapons.

BARRELS:

Lob slow traveling orbs of plasma radiation which detonate on impact.

RECEIVERS:

Offer variable Rates of Fire with Medium to High Accuracy.

POWER CORES:

Deliver Pure Area of Effect Damage which can bypass energy shields.

 

MISSILE PODS

Missile Pods fire high explosive kinetic projectiles.

BARRELS:

Launch high-speed self-propelled, long-range, projectiles which explode on impact. Come in both Semi-Auto and Full-Auto variations.

RECEIVERS:

Offer variable Rates of Fire with generally good Accuracy.

POWER CORES:

Deliver both Impact and Area of Effect Damage!

 

RAILGUNS

Railguns are precision kinetic weapons

BARRELS:

Fire ultra-high-speed projectiles over long ranges.

RECEIVERS:

Variable rates of fire with pinpoint accuracy.

POWER CORES:

Deliver massive Impact Damage which is highly effective against armor but which can be blocked by energy shields.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR APPEARANCE

GAMEPLAY

BATTLE ARENAS

The match will take place in one of fourteen Battle Arenas.

Each Battle Arena is different, but all are composed of Hover Platforms. If you fall too far off a platform, your SABRE will be destroyed.

OBJECTIVES

  • Destroy Enemy SABRES

  • Destroy HIVE Turrets

  • Earn Credits to buy Weapon Crates

JUMP JETS

Each SABRE is equipped with Jump Jets.

 

A quick press of your Jump button will allow for quick hops over the terrain.

 

Pressing and holding your Jump button will allow you jump higher or to glide down slowly from higher ground.

SHIELDS

Each SABRE is can activate an Energy Shield.

 

This will protect you against impact damage but not Area of Effect damage from explosive weapons.

You cannot shoot while your shields are active.

Shields have limited power but recharge automatically. If you completely deplete shield power they will no longer function until they are fully recharged.


 

HIVE TURRETS

HIVE Turrets are scattered throughout the map and will attempt to destroy any SABRE within their range.

 

Destroy them for hefty sums of credits!

 

Don't let them get too many kills... they appear on the rewards screen and can knock other players down a reward tier!

PICK-UPS

Pickups reward in-game credits.

Small amount of credits. Common.

Medium amount of credits. Uncommon.

Large amount of credits. Rare.

Very Large amount of credits. Dropped by HIVE Turrets.

SABRE CORES

SABRE Cores are left behind when you destroy enemy SABRES.

These will not only reward credits, but if you are the player at the end of a round which picked up the most cores, you will be the top Scavenger and will win a free bonus Weapon Crate.

Also, if you are on a kill streak and you are destroyed, the SABRE core you drop will multiply in value for every kill in your streak. A savory morsel for the player lucky enough to pick it up.
